Author of smart rom-com books filled with heat, banter and with a guaranteed HEA...Joy was born an only child, which meant she had no one to blame when the remote vanished, the glitter glue made its way into the carpet, or her mother's romance novels went missing.She started stealing them at thirteen—first to read them, then to rewrite the endings, and eventually to create her own. She wrote her first "novel" in fifth grade. It was four pages long, emotionally devastating, and featured a suspicious number of horses.Her writing has since evolved to include fewer equines and more emotionally constipated men with excellent jawlines.When not writing, she’s reading someone else’s book, falling in love with fictional people, and pretending it totally counts as professional development.
